The little white church with great big love

Scholarships

In 1965, a scholarship fund originated in memory of a 16-year-old church member, Elaine Hedges,  who passed away from cancer. In more recent years, the fund's name was changed to Robinson Chapel Youth Memorial Scholarship Fund in memory of the church youth who have gone to be with the Lord. You can view the plaque in the narthex memorializing Elaine Hedges, Larry Henschen and Ryan Baldwin. Scholarships are awarded to successful candidates for higher education or church camp experiences. This year, the approximate total amount available is $2000. The rules and applications for scholarships may be obtained from the church office or Joan Baldwin. Applications must be turned in by July 1 for the fall semester or November 1 for the spring semester. Camping applications may be turned in any time for consideration. Only one scholarship per person may be awarded per calendar year. The Scholarship Committee will be holding fundraisers at different times throughout the year and your support is always needed and appreciated. We would like to thank all those who recently purchased chicken from our chicken sale. If you have suggestions for a fundraiser, please feel free to contact anyone on the Scholarship Committee or Pastor Fred. Your help, suggestions, and generosity are always appreciated. Continue to pray for the youth of our church.
